If you are a reporter, you need to get on Twitter, according to a Towson University Alumnus who works at ABC2 News.

“Everyone should be curating their new information and Twitter is the way to do that.” said Nick DiMarco, class of 2009 graduate. “Twitter is the ultimate communication tool for reporters.”

Journalists need to use social media and it would be wise to take full advantage of all available resources from Facebook to Instagram. To become the best journalist possible, you need to be quick and accurate in your release of breaking news, it can only benefit your career in the long run.
